In Swahili, the proverb 'Asiye funzwa na mamae hufunzwa na ulimwengu' approximates to: 'Regardless of a child's biological parent(s) its upbringing belongs to the community.'

'It takes a village to raise a child.' is a basic truth.  Children are most successful when they have a large support system of caring adults.  Parents and family working together with their child's school and teachers have amazing, positive impact on a child's development.

In this section of our website we offer some tips and tricks to elevate interaction at home from 'How was your day?' to 'Let's do something cool together!'

Also in these pages, you'll find information about policies and procedures at your child's school, making their experiences more positive, ways you can be involved at school, and helpful information if you are struggling.
